Another parade down for the Vets with Vettes Corvette club. They've actually been in both the Huntsville and Madison parades this year. The Madison parade was postponed due to yesterday's weather, and while it was wet, it wasn't nearly as cold.

One of the vettes had a starting issue develop while in the staging area. And with the Vets with Vettes, like all of the clubs in the area, when a fellow member has a problem, you help out. A quick push up the the library driveway and a push-start was enough to get underway again. Hopefully it was just a battery issue.

It's been years since I've been to a parade, and what surprised me the most was the almost military precision that some of the kids showed. I think it was a group of fourth graders that impressed me the most, marching "left, left, left right left" and then a song as well. I had to get them on video.

The Vettes rolled two by two, waving to the onlookers on Hughes Road. It was a great site as usual, and made me miss my own vette so bad. I've got to find time to get it running again.

See everyone at the next one!
