But if you can’t make it, don’t worry! By popular request, this is a recurring event. The third Saturday of EVERY month is Cars & Coffee Day at:

Directions: From I-565, take exit for Wall Triana Hwy. Follow signs for Triana and merge onto Wall Triana Hwy. Turn left onto Jetplex Blvd SW. Destination will be on the right, or pass Jetplex Blvd and turn in by the Collaborations sign. If you get to the red light at Electronics Blvd, you've just missed us. Turn back and look for the Collaborations sign.

This is a FREE event!
Coffee, orange juice and breakfast rolls or donuts will be available for a small donation.

The Athens Eagle Wings, a local chapter of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association, usually have a ride every Saturday morning that starts around 9am and ends sometime in the evening. The end time varies depending on the destination. See the web site for more details.

Every week the Redstone Riders get together for breakfast and then a ride. Breakfast starts at 9am and the ride starts at 10am. Rides can vary in length and time, usually ending around 5pm or so. See the Redstone Riders calendar for detailed information on each ride.

"Come join us for breakfast at Mullin’s Drive-in Restaurant located at 607 Andrew Jackson Way in 5 points. Visitors are always welcome, just pull up a chair and introduce yourself to the person next to you.

Then weather permitting, there will be a club ride. Every Saturday the Redstone Riders depart from Mullin’s for a ride on some of the best twisty roads in our area. All you need is a full tank of gas and few dollars for lunch. All guest and visitors are welcome.

Each week one of our Road Captains will lead a ride on the back roads of the Southeast. Our winter rides average 150 miles, and we try to make it back before dark. Mid ride we always find good local cuisine wherever we are. Everyone is welcome to ride with us."

The Shoals Classic Auto Expo Collector Car Auction & Swap Meet is headed back to Sweet Home Alabama on Saturday August 18th, gates opening at 9am, first car on the block at 10am. Held at the Hwy 101 Dealer Auto Auction Facilites, located on Hwy 101 just off Hwy 72 between Florence & Athens towards Joe Wheeler Dam. You have seen these on TV, now be a part of the live action. Muscle Cars, Street Rods, Classics, Antiques, Rat Rods, Custom Motorcycles, Projects are also welcome. Open to the PUBLIC to buy and sell. We have buyers and sellers coming in from all over the South. Many well known collectors will have some of the finest examples of all models going across the auction block. You can sell with a reserve or no reserve on the block. Classic from $1000 to $250,000..will be here.

We just had the Mid South Classic Collector Car Auction & Swap Meet in Jackson, TN on May 5th, with 100+ vehicles crossing the block with a huge sell success rate and we expect even more will be coming to Alabama for this big event. If you want to sell your classic, here is the event to do it where you can put it in front of loads of people looking for it and can buy it. This event is Open To The Public & Dealers to Buy & Sell !! We will be limiting the car run list to 200, so if you plan on running your classic, consign now for the best numbers. Auction held indoors rain or shine. Sellers you can list your classic with a reserve or without on the auction block. We have over 30 acres all black top, with plenty of swap meet space under cover and plenty of parking. Swap Meet space is $35 and must be reserved in advance and open to all automotive related vendors, memorabilia/collectibles, gas pumps, signs, restoration part vendors etc all welcome. Concession proceeds will be donated to local/area charities. Questions post it here on HCS or give me a call Mark 731-225-6025 for Bidder/Seller info or to reserve you space.

General Spectator Admission to Classic Car Auction & Swap Meet is $10.00, children under 10 free. To register as a bidder its $20 and a bank letter of guarantee is required with proper ID's if you intend to write a personal or company check. This is the largest cruise-in each year in our area.

9:30 P.M. Fireworks Show begins
Veterans Park
General admission is free.
Car participation in show is $10 per car; pay at the gate, no preregistration required.
Natchez Trace will provide entertainment and food and refreshments will be available. Children will be able to enjoy a play area and there will be door prizes.

"Join the NAVWC every 3rd Saturday of the month as we cruise-in at the Dairy Queen. There's no dues, no registration fees, just a bunch of great guys and gals hanging out enjoying some good food and cool cars. All models of Volkswagen, new and old, are encouraged to join us!"

"We have a very informal Cruise-in on the third Saturdays of each month. The cruise-ins are also a good time to see everyone's VW's and grab a bite to eat."

With warmer weather here, we've decided to move our cruise-ins back outdoors. We're now meeting at the Dairy Queen at Priceville. It is just off interstate 65 on hwy 67. It is on the left headed toward Decatur. The time for the cruise in's has changed back to 6:00PM.

This is one of the Shoals' area's largest regular events. The ending time is actually open like most area cruise-ins, but from I've heard most of the people start to leave when it gets dark.
