This build has been happening for about 4-5 years to get to where it's at currently. ls2 swap, along with the custom bed and suspension work. Still a ways to go for the owner to get to from the few conversations I've had with him. Also got a chance to play with my VR lens.

My engine shots weren't up to snuff for me. I do have an older picture from a show though.

That's a nice setup. Wonder what the final outcome will look like...

I like the Envoy front end on these trucks. If I were to ever build an S10, which I don't ever plan on doing, lol I would have to do this conversion or a custom setup.

i wanna see what it runs at the track just for sh... and giggles... a mini truck that can flat out fly... just so nice

I still have not figured out why people leave the "Corvette" badging on for an engine swap. Looks stupid to me.

1 BAD Z June 5th 10:35 AM

i think cause a lot of ppl would look under and think its just a v8 in the truck or that it came stock... he wants to make sure ppl know its a vette motor... that would be my guess anyway

LS motors for the most part look the same. I'd guess most people leave all the writing to distinguish which LSx motor it is.

Samir June 5th 04:30 PM

But even the Corvette motors come in so many flavors now--from the ls1 and ls6 to the ls2, ls7, and others. But they can all have the Corvette badging.

Yes, leave the LSx badging on, if it's not in a Corvette, remove the rest.
