It's movie time, so it's time to wake this thread up. Huntsville Car Scene.com, Rocket 95.1, Rave Motion Pictures, Shonuffcustoms.com, and the Alabama GZ Club are going to be doing something special at the premiere of the movie. Check out the details here:

That's cool. Where will this be? I hope it's near the front entrance in that parking lot. That's a good spot.

The drifting is not computer animated, and from all the previews I have watched have not seen any neon. I understand tho......computer generated head spinning and puke...

I hear ya. I never liked the obscenely huge company logos on laptops and office equipment in a scene, but when someone is willing to pay a couple of thousand bucks for it, I guess that can be hard to turn down.

Hmm....good question. I noticed a 350z is one of the star cars this time around. Nismo?

considering hollowwood has been destroying irreplacable cars for decades : two lane back top, american graffiti, crazy larry and dirty mary, vanishing point, christine, just to name a few.

i doubt it.

those hollowwood commies will seize a 100 acres of private land to protect some stupid wire chewing rat, but wont lift a finger protecting a unique piece of american heritage.

remember, these are the same empty heads that destroy 45 year old buildings to make room for a canned starbucks.

and the drifting in this movie is not computer generated, but they are inhanced with effects. hot rod mag had a big story showing all the cars and what was done to them. 7 mustangs, 5 of which were destroyed.

there are over a billion riced out civics in this world, but they got to destroy a half dozen 1967 mustangs to make a ricer movie.

how sick.... it twist my guts.

They destroyed a mustang in F&F2 as well....hmmm, I'm starting to like these movies. j/k

I like my share of action movies, but I'm betting this one will be a big flop. No major actors to hang onto and the best they could do in hip-hop was bow wow....

Don't get me wrong...it looks like they'll have plenty of asian hotties, so that'll appeal to my demographics, but not for opening night. Ya'll have fun and post up your opinions once you've seen it.

That's one way of putting it, lol.

I've noticed that they're not aiming for the same demographic as before. Judging by the soundtrack, this movie seems to appeal more to asians and even some latinos. It's got more flash and color than ever, but the core just needs to be a good story.

I've read mixed reviews on it, some people liking it, and some not. But the same people that liked it, really didn't like 2, and I thought 2 was more of a movie with a plot than 1. Oh well, maybe I'll be able to see it at the midnight showing. I'll be too busy the rest of the time watching everyone's car and taking pictures.

this could be due to global releases and global sales. maybe the movie will earn more in the markets you mentioned then here. so the production company catered to those markets.

i did not care for 2 very much at all.

1 was ok, liked it the best of any .. but it was made to cater to the american crowd.

and can i ask a really dumb question..

what day/date and is everyone going to have thier cars at the premiere ?
