Precision Tune - warning
Have a friend with a Toyota that has used Precision Tune for oil changes for about 2 years. She started having troubles (oil light coming on, noices, engine acting up). Toyota looked at the vehicle and told her because of bad oil she would need a new engine. $8,000!!!!! Or an alternative would be about $4,000 (whatever the alternative is - maybe a rebuilt engine). Just letting any of you know that may have used or is using Precision Tunes. Be careful. Marsha

This can be said about any aftermarket service center, and we've all heard the horror stories. There's good and bad in every company, and some of us have better (or worse) experiences than others.
It's your car, and you have to determine how well it is maintained. It's one of the reasons I have factory service manuals for almost every vehicle I own. I may not be able to do the work, but I'll know exactly how it needs to be done so I know what to look for and what questions to ask before I let someone touch one of my cars.
