The Speakerbox is having it's GRAND OPENING meet on Saturday, Sept. 3rd form 9am-4pm! We have room for over 200 cars to fit comfortably!

The Speakerbox is Huntsville's newest and most experienced mobile electronics store and we're starting off with a bang! There will be a radio station live on site as well as food and drinks! We'd like to welcome everyone and their friends out to see the new store and to have some fun with other car enthusiasts.

This is not a car show, but rather a gathering of people with like minded interests. All makes, models, and years welcome!

As the time approaches, more information will be added to this listing. Mark it on your calendars, because you won't wanna miss this one!

Click here to see the gallery. Buy photo prints and gifts!
All proceeds help pay Huntsville Car Scene bills.

The first every Speakerbox Super Meet has some very cool cars come by at their inaugural event. Several groups rolled in together filling every grassy area with a plethora of cars to look at. And there were some very unique, and exotic vehicles--everything from a Campagna v13r to a Hennessey GT700 Porsche twin-turbo.

Jeannie was just walking around at the event when I had to ask her if she wanted to take some pictures with the cars. She was happy to do so, and did so with a lot of expertise. Her boyfriend has actually done professional modelling in New York and is helping her with her talent development. It was very cool working with them, and this event was just the beginning for the day--she came with me to the next event as well, and we created some more magical shots there too. I can't wait to work with her again.

There were almost 100 cars that came out for this first ever event. And next year it will be even bigger. See everyone at the next one! -- Samir

Taco, my new s2000 was the silver one on silver volk TE-37s. It was parked right behind my Integra. I figured it didn't stand out because it has a stock exterior and no body mods or circuit safety equipment.

Samir, Greddy emanage is a "piggy-back" solution like the VAFC. It uses a stock ecu and intercepts the voltage to trick the engine to run how it needs. It's cheap and works well on low HP setups that aren't to far from stock.

Hondata Kpro is a hardware hack of the factory ecu. It actually allows you to reprogram a factory ecu to function how you want it without manipulating the signal after it leaves the ecu.

Kpro or AEM is expensive but has a lot more features. You won't find many high HP cars running emanage.

Hondata Kpro/S300 and AEM are all OBDI tuning solutions. OBDII Honda tuning solutions are always going to be piggy-back systems.

Awesome info. I thought the eManage was going to be some sort of piggyback. It's awesome how the factory ecus can be hacked. I'm sure that opens up a whole world of tuning possibilities and flexibility.

I really need to get around to uploading my pics.

Anyways, had a blast out there and whatnot. The shop looks really nice, I know where I'll be headed when I get ready to start working on my 67's stereo

Yeah, there were a few pictures that I wish I would have snapped while we were walking around of the other S2000s and that old vintage Honda that rolled in. Thanks though!

They will. I've just got a lot on my plate in the next two weeks, so don't expect anything soon.
