Satan's LadyBug

what happens when you decide to stuff a big cube BBC with EFI in a VW shell? oh wait i forgot to mention, it's not built for drag racing, but rather for corner carving!
18x11 wheels on the front, 18x12 on the rear. all i can say is, i can't wait till it's finished!
long thread, but LOADS of knowledge in it.

Wow! What a build!

The money in that project alone is impressive. It's going to be a well over $100k bug. I just hope it's caged and stress protected for the road racing. An impact in a tiny package like that doesn't give much room for absorbing the impact.

this thing is going to be well above supercar standards when it's done. 632 cu in of EFI engine, MASSIVE wheels, tires and brakes, and should be pretty light weight when done. considering the car was used for drag racing in a previous life, i'm betting it already has a cage in it, and the guy building it doesn't appear to cut corners or spare cost, i'd say the cage is top notch.
one that REALLY surprised me was the fact that he is adding ABS and VDC!

Oh, it's the best of all worlds--launch control, abs all the way around, nothing but the best parts. Car manufacturers would look at him like he's crazy, lol. But for a one-off car that will be a personal supercar, it'll be worth every penny.

even if he has a 100K in it, he couldn't buy a car that would come close to the performance he will have from this lowly little VW.

I'd say even if he has $200k in it, he couldn't. It's going to have ridiculous performance that very few cars will be able to match.

Thats insane! Judging by his upgrading of his upgraded parts, it'll be top notch performance and safety wise.
