A Datsun flag was flying high at one of the autocrosses this year.

I need to find my old Nissan jacket. It's probably a bit torn up, but I wore it in high school.

i'd love to find a early Z car to play with a ~1974 240Z with some fat carbon fiber fender flares, fat wheel/tire combo, and a LSx/T56 would be a blast.

I've considered one day doing the LS3 swap into my 350Z. That would be ridiculous!

What would be more ridiculous would be a Titan 5.6L v8 with a Stillen supercharger on top.

Bummer. It seems to have been sitting there a while waiting for a good home.

No, this was nuts...

YIKES!

They were giving rides earlier in the day. And it was like this all day long at this event. It was a 25hr day for me in the end:

I still remember my reaction when I saw these cars kicking sideways on the embankment at 100mph+. My jaw just dropped and stayed there.

the S30 Chassis with some carbon fiber flares, nice drop, wheels with a polished lip and gunmetal center, LSx/T56 and super simple/yet functional interior. the s30 chassis is '70-'74 240Z, '75 260Z or '76 to '78 280Z, in '79 they went to S130 chassis and IMHO doesn't look nearly as nice as the S30 cars.

super simple, super nice..

This is a local car that is owned by a local SCCA member that was out at a cruise-in a few years ago. The pictures don't do the car justice. It was clean!

Looking back on it I'm glad I let my dad talk me out of it, because that engine swap would have been a nightmare and expensive.
