Your Evo suspension choices

I finally got a solid tune on my Evo, and am about to get it back from the wife as my DD, so time to look at suspension. I really want to just improve the appearance without trashing the handling. The budget doesn't extend to coilovers, and since I have a GSR, no Bilsteins.

Simplest option seems to be progressive rate springs with a one inch drop.

What choices did you make and why?

Jim M.

(BTW, got some decent numbers from the tune. Pretty minimal mods, tuned on a Mustang dyno at Cobb in Plano, TX. 357 lb ft and 319 HP. Stock on that dyno is around 230 HP )

I believe Lee has Swifts which drop .6" front and .2" rear.

I had Eibachs for a while but they were causing a vibration issue up front while accelerating hard. Handling was ok (added more understeer) and the ride was actually really good. They dropped about 1.2" front and .8" rear.

If I do it again, it might be fore the Swift springs.
