Interesting. I wonder if it's actually a local car and why they chose that color sideblade. Great find!

I've been seeing that car a lot around Madison, I've seen it 2 or 3 times on Madison Blvd. and meet him once on 565. I would be willling to say it's local.

There are a couple of R8's in HSV. I was talking with Kosmo at Audi the other day about it. When their V10 R8 Spyder comes in soon, a guy is trading in his V8 R8 for it. He also owns a V10 R8 coupe.

We worked on a 1997 Bentley Turbo R (only ~1400 made) at work that one of the chairs of HSV Hospital owns.

We have also worked on a customers SRT10 Viper and 197x Pantera. He lives in Guntersville, but I only have pics of his Pantera.

I've also seen the Ferrari's, GTR's, Maserati's, etc. that have been posted in this thread. There are a few Lambo's around here, too.

It's quite nice. It already has an exhaust and probably a few other goodies knowing Tino. I heard it and grabbed a far away shot when he drove by the car show this weekend. He wouldn't turn around for me to grab a picture of it.

Yeah, I know he's like that sometimes. I actually just wanted to talk to him about the car since I've seen r8's and wanted to know what he thinks of the r-tronic since he and I have driven similar clutchless manual systems. When he and I spoke on the phone, he wasn't super excited about it, and judging from his tone it isn't as nice as what he had in his BMW or the Porsche PDK. I like that he kept the same plate. Now it's more appropriate than ever, lol.

Just saw what looked like a Ferrari F40 driving down Church St. towards the DMV. Looked JUST like this one.

He works for Continental Tire. He must be important because they fly him back home to Germany at least once every year.

But he's a great guy, and a die-hard enthusiast with great driving skills. He helped me get some Continental tires for my Porsche at a discount. Too bad I haven't had time to mount them yet.

I've seen the Fiero kit car you're talking about, Samir. I really don't think this was it, though.

Hard to tell without a picture. I highly doubt someone has a real F40 in town. I've never heard of anything like that in the Ferrari circles around here.
