This was the first year for the new location at Point Mallard. And what a much better location it is. Better entrance/exit without any type of dip like at Saginaw, smooth rolling hills, and a great area for vendors row. The attendance wasn't as large as I remember it, but I think this show was confused with the other Point Mallard show that is every year. But there was still over 600 cars registered.

The sun wasn't bearing down thanks to some soft cloud cover, and the heat was merciful. But it was still a long day with the humidity, and people started to cut out around 1pm. They had great door prizes as usual with two complete engines given away.

Doug Poole, the founder and lead organizer of this event, was recently in a pretty serious car accident. But even though he wasn't at 100%, he still came out to see his event for a short while. I didn't have a chance to see him, but I wish you a speedy recovery Doug.

Be sure to click on the slideshow to watch the videos! There's nothing like seeing and hearing these machines.
