Comment Section under each gallery?

Samir, this is something I forgot to ask you the other day. How difficult would it be to implement something like this? Could make for better coverage and also give an idea of how many people are looking at what gets cover.

Actually, there is commenting available on each gallery. I just haven't implemented it yet due to the customizations I've done to the gallery pages. Once I redo these customizations I plan to turn it on. Great idea!

Long term, I want to have a huge keywording project where people can post the username or make, model, year of each car. Then I can write something using the API that will take these words and use them to keyword the images. And then there could be virtual galleries for every make and model that's in the archives--automatically. It would be one of the largest resources on the Internet for pictures of a particular make/model.

www.streetsourcemag.com has something like that. you can highlight the years, makes, models, and/or search by member name. it's a cool system but half the people on that site are in the wrong section.

I don't really like the site in general (black pinstripes/everything is red and black) but the search does work well.

Interesting. That's an owner's registry so it's pulling the information from the registry. Altimas.net used to have one of those too. This would be something much broader--more like a google search for specific cars, but much more accurate.
