Anyone know a good place to find a part?

The weather stripping around my trunk is messed up in one place and is allowing some water to get in the trunk. I went to the dealership and of course they wanted $128 for a piece of foam.

I found the part number and did some searching and the cheapest place I can find is $76. That is ridiculous for a piece of foam that's maybe 5-6' long. Ugh.

Anyway, does anyone know where to find this part cheaper (locally?)?

Part # 4783623AD

It's #8 in the diagram:

I wouldn't go with anything other than factory here. The quality of the rubber will make a huge difference in if it sticks during the winter/deteriorates quickly/etc. You're still probably going to pay at least half that for a generic no-name part, and is that future aggrivation really worth saving $30?

I'd rather try a $30 piece and see if it works than drop $100+ on a piece of rubber. If the cheaper one works, I just saved myself some money. If it doesn't I know what to buy next time.

another thing is if you have a good buddy in a body shop have him see if he can get the factory part at shop price. Its how I got all of my Mopar parts for my dart.

I do not know what year or make your ride is, but we get most to all of our weather stripping for our antique and classic rides at Soft Seal, and have never had any problems, even after 12 years later:

Excellent link! It seems like they might have a universal seal that would work. But something tells me it would end up being the same price as the factory part.
