Lightbulb Wanted: Factory Hardtop 94/8 Convertible

I'm looking for a factory hardtop for a 1994-1998 Mustang convertible. Would also like the storage rack. Has anyone seen one of these in someones garage that doesn't have their convertible anymore?

According to Brad Barnett's page, there were only 499 of these made, so your chances of finding one are prolly slim...

Sowns like thems as rare as chicken lips, however, that's about 10 per state and the odds of one of them being in Huntsville would be pretty good? not really cause most of them were probably sold up North.

there was one on SVTperformance a month or so ago, however no Glass and no hardware. From that posting I determined that they would not fit anything but the 95 Cobra HT vert, the hardware was completely different from a regular vert, and was non existant now. There is a company making something similar. www.smoothline.com says easy on / off no modifications required.

I had looked at this site several months ago when I picked up the hardtop for the Kenstang. The early hardtop I have was manufactured by Parrish Plastics (MD) and the Smoothline Co (PA) either bought the company or is just selling some of their older 'parts'. Anyone else know anything about these companies?

Did you hear?

I read an article recently that said the 2009 Mustang will have a retractable hardtop! Pinnafarina had just built a Focus with one for the 'company'.
