I have inquired if they would be re-setting this event later this year, and they stated they have not had a chance to discuss that. So if they do, I will sure get it posted. Otherwise, we all will have to wait until this time next year for this great event. Marsha

It would be nice if they had a website or Facebook page or somethinges for this event to improve communications

Instead of just a sign that saysCANCELLED with no other explanation

I will mention to them. In the meantime, they have me list their events and post updates on North Alabama Car Calendar (http://noalcarcalendar.mysite.com/index.html). And as soon as I was informed, I posted to this site as well.

This event, as far back as I can remember, has never been cancelled in the past. And I am sure was a hard decision for the coordinators of this event. I have a feeling the Park had a say, since the grounds were most likely too wet, soggy and soft for the cars to drive across. Thanks for understanding. Marsha

The grounds were absolutely soaked.
Cars would have just gotten stuck and the field would have been torn up

This is what the field looked like Friday afternoon about 5pm

I have not heard from them, so assuming will not be rescheduled for this season. If I hear differently, I will sure get it posted. They are ones that do email me their event flyers. Thanks, Marsha
