It was my first time returning to see this show in several years, and it was good to see it turning the depot into a great fun time for the whole family. Over 120 cars were on display on the Depot grounds, and even though the heat was on full blast, the shaded areas kept people from melting.

Since the depot still has working tracks, several trains whizzed by during the show, making yet another sight to see while you were there.

Nell was announcing at the event, and graciously posed for a picture mid-speech. She then announced how people could find the picture of her on Huntsville Car Scene. Thank you for the plug Nell. Be sure to check out the North Alabama Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America web site at www.naraaca.org to see what Nell and her fellow club members are all about.

Mayor Tommy Battle was on hand to pick and present the trophy for Mayor's choice. I was able to chat with him briefly, and after listening to his speech on how he chose his winner, I believe he's a car enthusiast. Who would've known.

The Cadillacs were performing for most of the day after arriving in...what else...a pink Cadillac.

A good number of 5th Generation Camaros from the newly formed Rocket City Camaros club were present with their pristine cars. We'll be seeing them around at various events so feel free to talk to them about their cars, and tell your friends with new Camaros about their organization.

There should be at least one picture of every car that was present at the event, including some that left early. And remember, photo gifts like puzzles, mugs, t-shirts can be purchased along with prints. And the proceeds help pay Huntsville Car Scene's bills. See everyone next year!
