Saw someone we know on Pass Time

i know they are re-runs now but last night we watched an episode where we knew the person
black Oldsmobile (i think 442 convert)
he had a carbed blow-thru setup on it, 455ci
i remember back in the 90's before centri's were becoming mainstream that he showed up at a vitamin store i was working at, and i was in such awe over the sound, just sounded so cool and awesome
i was amazed because at that time there wasn't much out for this type of setup
it was an ATI that would fit on the OEM GM AC brackets (again before more companies were offering anything),
we spoke about it, he gave me a POC at ATI and i almost bought one
i held off due to not feeling to comfortable about an adjustable fuel source for a carbed setup, kindda glad i did
I know back then quiet a few guys lost some $$ in those adventures

I just thought it was cool to see him and the car on TV
He's in FL now and the car looked very sharp

And.....
on last weeks MY Classic Car Dennis was showing the "cruising the gulf coast"
the old Green i think 50's Pontiac Wagon was on there with a trailer, great story and the car was from this area. If i'm not mistaken we saw that last Sept at the Decatur cruise in.... pretty cool
