Top audio shop in Huntsville?

I'm about to get my car speakers replaced with some high end stuff. So which shop should I go to? Neon Sound? Sound Depot? Sound on Wheels? Other? I'm not against going to Athens or Decatur either. I just want it done right the first time.

There's quite a few people in town that do good work, but it really depends on your budget and what you want to do.

I just want to replace my crappy factory speakers with some high end ones and maybe an amp. No subs or new cd player right now.

whatever you do DO NOT GO TO NEON SOUND! i went there to have a sub amp and head unit installed. i got there around 11 and did not leave till 6. they told me it was ready sometime around 3 so i paid them and left. got goin down the road and noticed my blinkers didnt work. then i realized my headlights didnt either so i go to pull over to see if the brake lights work and when i push the clutch in to go to first the truck dies. needless to say the brake lights didnt work either. so i go back up there and they fix whatever it was that was making the truck die in first gear. but they couldnt fix the lights so i drove home without lights. the next day i took it to my mechanic. it turns out the tard who installed my stuff broke of the hazard light switch on top of the steering column and tried to super glue it back welllll the glue ran down into the wiring harness for the blinker switch and all the lights and fried all of it. sorry for the long post

If you are looking to save some money but want quality work done, I would be happy to do it at my shop. I have 8 years experience in high end installs including competitions winning systems, fiberglass enclosures as well as run of the mill installs. I am cheap, and i think that most people here can vouch at least for my personal cars. Please contact me if interested.

Sound Depot is also a good place to get installs. I wouldn't carry anything of mine to anyone else other than those I have mentioned. I could have a few other things to say, but I'll keep my tongue. =)

Please list some of your "high end installs". Also, what's the name of your shop?

most of them are personal cars, which i dont have pics saved on here. However, i had a 98 saturn SC with two Audiobahn 1206flame Qs and an audiobahn 200watt mono amp, in a fiberglass inclosure that utilized the spare tire well. It was painted the same red as the car, with a HVLP sprayer. The car also had Audiobahn componet speaker up front with an extra set of tweeters installed in the doors. My other personal cars in included a 73 Internations pickup with two JBL DVC 8s, a 400 watt JBL amp, Rockford Fosgate 6x9s in the door and a pioneer cd player. Also, I had a Grand prix GTP(showwinner at several shows) with a costom faced enclosure, two audiobahn 1206flame Qs, an Audiobahn 800watt mono amp at 1.33 ohms, an Eclipse in dash DVD/cd player with screen and PS2. we dont have a shop name (taxes and all, we prefer to call it a "hobby shop") I would be happy to meet up and discuss it with you at anytime.
