Sweet pics! What are those pickup type cars? They look like our Honda Accords with the back chopped. Very cool.

Cheers Guys,
Yes they are Holden Utes - 2003 VY Holden Storm is the black one pictured. The engine is a 3.8L Buick VH Engine similar to some used in later model Camaro's apparently.... The Holden Ute also come out in a 5.7L GenIII 350 Chev engine... yummy I'll post up some more pics soon, it was more of a ute gathering this weekend. |

Does anyone know which GM 5.7L that is? I'm curious if it's the LS1, LT1, or LS6.
Whichever one it is, I'm sure you can add cams and a supercharger.

It's a Gen III 5.7L which I believe is the LS1 engine.
The LS1's were 5.7L where as the new LS2's are 6.0L. |

Hey Guys,
2004 model Holden GenIII to 2002 Model GenIII are LS1. There are many after market parts that cater for LS1. Our other CC ute which is identical to the 6 pushes 301rwhp out of an LS1 and that is from a chip upgrade (www.powerchip.com) (one of our sponsors) exhaust and pacemaker headers. |

Just 301rwhp? The stock c6 Corvette has 405 in the engine via an LS6. I have friends with over 400rwhp in LT1s and LS1s.
![]() Where's the Decatur F-body boys? They know all about this sort of stuff. Maybe we need to come down under and help mod some Holdens.
