Help Me Find the Right Wheels!

My Galant will be put out of service shortly due to the head needing replacement, and my Accord will be back in service again. But the Accord still needs some parts, one of which is new tires.

Well, you can't get any decent performance tires in 185-70/14 so it's time for another wheel and tire package. The big question is, what should I get?

The car is a 1994 4-door Accord LX in a dark blue, almost black colored paint. I don't think gun metal or any type of dark finish wheel would look right on it, so the options I've been looking at are polished or satin silver.

Of course, I started looking the same place I got the ones for the Galant, and these have caught my eye:

I haven't checked the offsets or anything yet, but I'm looking for something that will match up pretty well. The budget is the same as everyone else--cheap as can be since I've spent all the money I could've fixed up my cars with on Huntsville Car Scene.

Suggestions welcome. Pictures will be very helpful!

That wheel looks pretty good, but I would reconsider the gun metal color. I think it would look pretty good with that dark of a car. It all depends on where you want the "look".

You could probably pick up some good deals around here or on the Honda forums.
Too bad these won't work...the price sure is right.

But since you're such a big balla...here's the wheels for you.

On a more serious note...these would look good. Chrome on dark blue looks hot !

Or even these:

Keep us posted.

Thank you for the feedback.

Now that you mention it, a dark bronze probably wouldn't be all that bad. But from a distance, the difference in the color of the wheels and the color of the car would be what's more apparent to me, unless the wheels are of a distinctly different color.

I've never been a fan of chrome as they are too shiny for me. Especially the RVMs.

I like the last three except that I'm going for a more simple look--less places for the brake dust to build up.

I know you don't really want a dark color, but have you considered black or gun metal with a polished lip? I think that would look pretty good. Here's a 5th gen I found sporting something similar on accordtuner.↓

Here's one in bronze with a mesh style design. Yeah, the whole color scheme is a little dark looking, but I think it would actually look better in person. I like it, especially the wheel design. ↓

I think these are some sort of Enkei wheels (w/honda logo), not really sure though. Nice and simple.↓

I like th simple look like in the last picture. It's less "tuner" and more "stock" looking, if that makes any sense. I just can't seem to find any other wheel than that one at wheelmax that seems to fit the bill. I know there's others out there.

I have always been a fan of these first wheels, but I dont really know if that is the look you are going for. Since you dont want to go for the Tuner Look, you could go with a nice MESH style wheel. Mesh looks really clean, and at the same time you can never go wrong with a nice set of Classy Mesh style wheels, BBS, ASA, BSA, HP, etc.....

These FLIK Wasps, I think they are called, were an option that I had for my Hatch, but decided that I like more of the stock approach.

You have seen Don's Jetta before, so you know that Mesh Wheels look good on Four Door, as I think I recall your Accord was a Four Door.

Wow, thank you for the great feedback Munchie! I'll check out the sites and see if I can't get something ordered. The only thing keeping my Accord from being driven now is a set of decent tires (easy once I have wheels so I can get the sizes I want) and a new half-shaft (should be here Monday).

Nah, wouldn't look right with such a tiny car. Besides, it would underpower it and make it horrible to corner. Which if anyone has seen me drive, I need my cornering capability.

No When did you leave one? I've been running crazy all day today. Any of you witnessing a Boxster zoom up and down University can attest to that.
