Nopi Nationals...

Hey everyone, i am extending an invitation to anyone going to nopi nationals this year to make sure and register with Fa Sho, we have been promised a pavement position this year since we had a big turnout last year... We will be parking in the audio section close to the drift fest. very nice place, dont have to worry about gravel and dust getting in or on your car, it is a very simple process when you preregister just select fa sho as the club name and then select the orange section for parking i believe it is... We will have a grill and food also so that no one has to buy the 5 dollar hot dogs inside the stadium, again why not park next to people that you know in huntsville rather than john doe from ATL that is about to jack your stuff... so come on people lets make a blast of nopi nationals this year!

I may actually be covering this event for Car Domain. I'm still waiting to hear back from them.

bump back to the top

and yes it is the orange section
normally this is the audio competition parking only.

however Fa Sho thought its contacts has permission to show in this area.

Also FYI we will have front row viewing for the Drift events.

I'm not sure I agree with this tactic, but each car club has their own morals and ethics I guess.

But it's also a benefit for those that do sign with them with the premium parking and free food.

I guess in the end it's a decision left up to each individual.

This is a part of what's wrong with the world today. Those who follow the rules get shafted and those who bend or break them get away.

nice...

Well, I dont see it as a problem, without the ohter ppl we were the second largest club there last year as far as entries go, This way all the folks from huntsville will get a great parking area together at an out of town show, whats wrong with that????

Morals, hell this is competition, who the hell has morals?????

I don't think any rules are being violated. Although, the nopi officials will probably look at this more closely if this type of tactic increases in coming years to garner larger club numbers.

But I know what you're talking about all too well. I got two tickets the other day--one for an expired tag, one for no proof of insurance. Both documents were sitting at home. I removed them from the car after it was vandalized to prevent any more theft and forgot to put them back in the car.

Even after explaining this to the officer, who was very understanding, I still have to go to court. Yep, me. Not the vandals that never got caught.

Fair? According to the law, yes.
Justice? I don't believe so.

Vandals - 2

I think it's a great gesture for those looking to hang with a great bunch of guys/gals, don't get me wrong, but if the tables were turned I think your club would get upset. As a matter of fact, I did hear about that same thing happen at one event between you and a rival club. From what I hear, you weren't all too happy.
I guess it's the business side of me coming out in this thread. I've been in car/truck clubs since the late 80's, so I have a different mentality. If you win club participation this way and can be proud of that, so be it.

Samir, pulled over for an expired tag?? You are slacking bro. I bet you were like, "wtf?". I'm sorry to hear about it and the wasted trip to court.

Hit me up one day, we'll do lunch.
