D, on your infor you gave last nite, if members get a unique login/pw, essentially an 'account', would we be able to maintain server space for a pic gallery and so on?

I plan on setting up the new site where each member gets to put up so many pics with their bio, probably 10 each. As for the videos and event pics, I'll manage those manually. From the response I got last night about these changes, I'm not sure exactly what the rules will be. As soon as I get the phase 2 proposal done, I'll post it on the website for all of the members to review. That way, I won't be wasting time programming something that the members don't want.

As for drive space, I'll be watching that closely.

If you want me to host pictures and videos, I'll be happy to do so, giving you ftp access into your portion of my server. I have 160gb in the server and can add more drives as I wish.

There is a hack for vbulletin called vbgarage that allows the features for photos and profiles. I'm not sure how hard this would be for you to code from scratch, but I'd consider installing vbgarage on my site and making a special user group for club members so they are the only ones that can use the feature. The only thing I'd ask in return is that the club sponsor my site.

Here's more details on vbgarage:

I know, and they're hard to keep up! The one I was referring to was the one we're on right now, www.huntsvillecarscene.com.
