Nice work man. I remember some of those clips and a lot of them I didn't. I've always loved the kickstand dismount, and the motard endos. You just kill them.

Welcome Wendell. I seen an Opel at the dragstrip a few months ago that was just tearing everyone up. those cars have a lot of potinal and style.

Mines an all numbers matching, all original car that I have the documented history on since it came off the showroom floor. Too nice to hot rod so I restored it to almost original, only changes are a Weber carb replacing the Solex and a handmade slightly custom interior that a friend of mine and I did.

Yeah. Same team designed both. The Opel GT was designed first, then the `vette. Although it took longer for the Opel to hit the market - thanks to the beancounters.

Welcome. Very nice car. My dad used to own a 1970 Opel GT that was a deep blue. Then he had my brother and there was no room in the GT for a car seat.lol We still get the guilt trip for my dad having to sell his baby when my brother was born..."if I had never had kids I would still be driving my GT instead of this Dodge Ram".lol

It's debut showing was June 6th at NABMS (North Alabama British Motoring Society) Annual EuroBrit Car Show at Dublin Park in Madison. It placed 2nd in class next to a big-buck resto 72 Opel GT that came over from Atalanta. I will be taking it to more shows in the future.
