Dude that is the best pic of my buddy's car yet. I told him about it and he was like no way cause he didn't even wash it that day and it was dirty as sin. He loves it. Like I told him, Samir is the man!! hehehe

Black cars at night are pretty easy to hide imperfections. Especially when you've got some other points of light that attract your eye. It took me 5 takes to get a shot I liked, though.

lol. and yea i look at those pics from time to time of the photo shoot. my civic never looked as clean as it did that day. even shane's gsr looked good for being in primer. It was fun and hopefully we can do it again, except this time actually do something with it. Maybe you could just do a photo shoot of some of the rides in huntsville and do a huntsvillecarscene.com calendar...that seems like a pretty good idea to do..or maybe like that cruise you was talking about...compile the best pics from the cruise to a calendar. be a why to make some money for the site and a lot of fun as well. just a thought tho...hehehe .

We never made a HCS calendar. And it's actually easier to do than it was back then. You can even make a calendar from your favorite HCS pictures. I believe there's an option to make and buy a calendar.

so did we but we had a lot buy them...just only problem is outta all that money, and i know it was in the thousands cause just me alone had over 350 dollars worth sold and gave that money for it, the calendars never got produced and i personnally had to front the money back to people that ordered them. i have heard different stories about what happend so i don't know the facts about what happend to them. I really think they would do good as long as you had them in print already and take them to shows or what not. but if it's been done and no one else thinks it's a good idea them sorry i brought it up.

yea. well i have to say alot of it was my family and the fact my car at the time was gonna be in the calendar. plus i was working at a gas station on south parkway at the time and all my customers seen the progress that civic went threw from day one, plus it helps that alot of the cars from fa sho was coming up to my store alot and people seen them and liked the cars and wanted the calenders. i did a lot of advertising for that calendar and it kicked me in the rear how all that turned out.

You should try a calender without the models. I know I will get flamed for that one, but for some folks like myself, my wife would have a fit if I had a scantaly clad chick on a car in a calender hanging up somewhere!

Calendars are an expensive item too. $20 is a lot. People just don't buy calendars anymore. Check out how many are in the discount section at any book store.
