Oh yeah they let me in, but a group of people accualy came up to me and argued that my car wasn't a true Import. And that I belonged in a show with Minitruckers not high class imports like the 4 door civic with wheels and the stock DA that they were driving!

The show is for people that are really into imports atleast most of them. You won't see to many strobe kits, lambo doors, or interfoolers. The show is geared more toward the jdm sytle and performance cars. You'll see some ricey crap but not that much.

You can just park with dsm's that way all the cars that leak oil will be in on place so it'll take less time to clean up. Lol. Jk.

The ONLY look for an import should be clean and quick..no gaudy crap on it, unless its a top secret wide body...no giant wings on slow cars, auto zone stick on buick look a like things on the fenders... This is the word of the lord.

sigh imports drive me crazy even when i had one... now ill make this clear that i still love imports
first of munchie remember you dont hate on other cars and they style the pursue lol and they are kinda right just from lookin at your car that it is a mini style... now i know you know a lot about imports and that scene but all they go off is your ride now this whole "jdm" style bull **** kills me... not many of us have a "jdm" car... and if you check out japanese cars... we would call them rice cause they do show stuff like body kits, mismatching wheels, crazy paint schemes and more... usdm imports like cleanliness as far as appearance in trying to make the stock look, better... adding rota, volk, etc style wheels, lip kits, black headlights, lowering, big brakes, type r interior for hondas, and a lotta performance... its basically the new wave of the 70s muscle cars... just a new era my prelude wasnt "jdm" it was a usdm car with some nice clean things to make it look better... i say this after i learned the difference between what they do in japan and what we do here

the JDM styling, has gotten out of hand with the "ebay" era, normally it would mean sourcing parts strictly from japan.
What you are referring to is a different style popular in japan, I am unsure of the title, but it goes along the lines of their VIP style, where they do crazy minivans and such. But the true look that import afficianados go for, is "tuner" If you look @ the japanese tuner shops, they have probably the NICEST looking vehicles of their type in the world, and sometiems the fastest. Oh and F&F (I hate all 3 of those movies with a passion) Totally ruined the nature of an import enthusiast, and opened up the ricer division to the limelight...you know, the guys with the freakin NOS sub boxes and fake stuff all over their cars.... I hate the way it's become.
