Not many people will say anything here. They'll see it on the calendar and then decide to come or not.

You won't have much registration feedback online or otherwise unless you have pre-registration. And people saying, "yeah I'll be coming" in a forum doesn't count for much. I've seen too many times that it's not a reliable way to guage real-life interest.

But I have found that the "will be attending" list on your event listing on the calendar here is a pretty good guage. I use it to find out where people are going on a particular weekend.

Harvest Rightous Rods Event

Went to the event today and I have to tell you, I really had a great time and the folks there at The Harvest Church did a really great job making everyone feel welcome and really made everyone feel that they were appreciated for coming. They provided free bottled water to everyone and opened their doors to let anyone that needed to cool down to come inside for a while and cool off. They made some amazing food and for 2 dollars you got a THICK burger, chips and a drink and of course offered home grown tomatoes for your burger! YUM! They had a band that played contemporary gospel music for our entertainment. They also had the "car smash" in which they provided a car for everyone to take either a sledge hammer, bat, hammers or whatever you wanted to use and just smash the car! They had a huge water playhouse for the kids to enjoy and lots of door prizes and the grand prize was two outdoor pressure treated swings that one of the members had built and donated for the event.

Here are Pics from the Event:

Pretty good turnout for a hot summer day. I wish I could've been there. I'm sure the 302 cruise-in was probably just as packed.
