Cee cee's Pizza on 72

i talked to the GM of the Cee Cee's Pizza on 72 about doing a monthly meeting in their parking lot once a month since DQ's lot is shrinking. he said to email him and he would be more than happy to host a monthly thing. someone want to grab the ball and run on this? i would, but i don't have time to do much but work. i have his emil if anyone is interested. Samir?

I'm with you. I can name 6 cruise-ins on any given Saturday evening, and several others on Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays. They are fun & enjoyable, but when you get too many, some will not have the attendance, or lose attendance, and die off. Decatur tried more than one with not much luck. So we are just sticking with old faithful - Steak 'n Shake - which brings in a full parking lot once a month.

I've actually got a plan in the works for a new location for DQ. I just have to write the proposal. It would be the most awesome cruise-in in the city ever. But with site development time taking up all my time, it sits.

wasn't aware DQ was a cruise in...
thought it was just a coinkadink that everybody had DQ craving on the first Wed. of the month.

Yep, it was first 'formalized' as a cruise-in when the Rocket City Mustang Club listed it as their event. Now, it belongs to no one, but it has a history going back before the Mustang Club claimed it.

It's in an unfortunate state too. There used to be a lot more organizations that came to it. My idea would return it to a more open level and with more depth in each genre. Plus, the facility would be top notch.

I think it's the one in Madison. I think there is one there. Heck I don't know but that would be my guess. I don't like Madison so I try to stay outta that town as much as posible.

Yeah, we've been doing a cruise in at Cici's for about the past 6 months or so. 2nd Thursday of every month...we'd love for everyone to come out and have a good time. Plenty of parking is to be had...as well as pizza.

Ha, that's not the first time my car has been on there. That little hot blonde chick Tori Dunnan did a special over in our parking lot also and that was when my car had the yellow wheels on it. I got like 3 calls and 5 texts that morning telling me about it!lol I still have the chrome rings. I use those when I get bored with the colors.
