Rain on Thursday?!?! Dagum! *CLOSE CALL REPORT* - I almost bit tha dust doing a standup yesterday. Goin to measure my distance on tha back tire and at around 1.4 miles, i caught a side wind that give me a wobble. Sat the bike down into a major tankslapper. The bad thing about this is when i regained control of the bike at around 85ish, i drifted approx. 8 feet off the road in the grass. Using my expert riding skills that i obtained from the last ride i took through a ditch ( cough cough), i kept a steady throttle and eased it back onto the road. Needless to say, i had to change underwear when i got home. HAHA. Not really.

Dude, that was too close. Get a crash cage, some pegs and get good at some slower stuff so you're more prepared for bad stuff at high speed. Good to see you're still around!

Yes... Please be careful
Last week a guy killed himself on his gxr doing wheelies...
He was thrown for about 200 feet.. which is where he met his maker.

Be careful.

There was also another gxr fatality yesterday, although it was due to a truck pulling out in front of him from what I understand.

Hey Samir, when and where was that Dairy Queen cruise-in? I'll try and bring something out to that next time. I didn't see it on the calendar as to where it was located.

Good advise. I know too many people that can pull up a high speed wheelie. I say too many because not many of them can really do that safely IMO. It's not a problem when it's the sole individual that gets hurt, but there can be other people in the wrong place at the wrong time. The fun is good when it doesn't hurt anyone else--and hopefully no one at all. Ride to live. No one remembers the good wheelies if you die or get hurt doing one.
