Amazing Accidental Photography

So I was reviewing photo from this weekend of the Bikes and Blades Motorcycle Poker Run, and I noticed these two images were similar. And when I went from one image to the next, I noticed a car transform into an SUV.

Somehow, these two images taken completely separately, not using any type of continuous shutter, shot the car and SUV perfectly in the same location. This completely amazes me considering this was moving traffic on the Beltline in Decatur. I don't think I could have done this purposely if I tried.

The final image I was going for doesn't have the car or the SUV in it.

Car disappears on the right side of the bike, too.

Good eye, I didn't even see that one.

Who knew the wheelbase of a Cavalier and a Jeep Grand Cherokee were the same.

heres some accidental photography.

My 3 year olds Bday party was Saturday. I decided to slide down the slide on my stomach, face first. Had a guy snapped this shot right as my face grabbed more traction than my socks. I ended up standing on my neck when this pic was taken. Then of course I flipped over.

"Caution, do not use without adult supervision" LOL!

I'm glad you're okay though. That could've been bad!

Samir- this probably happens on a weekly basis, but goes unnoticed, due to the sheer volume of photos you take

Lol! But I would noticed it because I look at every single photo I take.

It just occurred to me that I look at over 100,000 photos a year. And these are just mine.

100k photos a year?!?! That's a ton of cars! Well it could be more like 200,000 tons if you consider the average car to weigh 4000lbs and you look at 100k photos per year lol. Thats on US measure of the average ton being 2000lbs

lol!

A lot of the times it's the same cars from various events--I'd say about 65-70% are the same cars, but it's still A LOT of cars.

I have a keywording project that I want to do where each picture will be tagged with the color, year, make, and model. Then hundreds of thousands of people will find our local cars when they're looking for something online.

But this will only be after I open up the galleries to Google indexing, which will only be after I figure out the code to make them link back to their source event. And this is just one of a 100 other projects for the site...

Cool!

Make sure you include the tag "rat" so I can find the
pictures you took of my truck last fall.

Once I have those pictures published, you should find them no problem.

It would be neat to be able to also have tags based on a username. And then you could instantly have a gallery of just your car that stays continuously updated. But someone would have to tag those images.
