Why don't you wait around and make pics of the winners and trophies if they want it. I'm sure the announcers would allow you to make the announcement.

I would have, but I was with a friend from Cali and we were 1 hour late to go to a wedding that he flew in for.

I usually try to cover an event completely if possible, but when there are multiple events or other timing conflicts, I just do what I can.

But what I'm saying is that make sure the promoters let the participants know you're there and if they'll wait around you can photograph winners in class, Because when it's over I'm usually wanting to get out of there.

Oh yeah, I know what you mean. It's actually difficult to do at most events unless they already know who I am. They're usually quite hectic around trophy time so I try to talk to them beforehand. Most of the times I've been to an event, they don't really do any type of announcement unless they already know the value I will bring to their event. I've only been around a few years so it will take some time for my name to get everywhere to the point where promoters will start coming to me or making an announcement a high priority.

Besides, at this show, they did something I've never seen before. They took a picture of each car upon registration and had a print ready for them when they were leaving--all part of the registration package.

I haven't built the Model sections yet, so the only way the model pictures are there is through the Random Model Pic on the homepage. If you've looked at any of those, then you'll see the new ones.

So much to do, so little time...
