Post Your Favorite Picture of the Week

There are so many pictures here on Huntsville Car Scene. And so many good ones! So post up your favorites from the event coverage in this thread, and why you like them. It'll be interesting to see what we like and why we like it. Use the Share button in the gallery.

Here's my favorites from this week:

I like this one because it's artsy, showing the crowd in the background, and associating that with the BBS center caps.

I love the speed in this one. And the red car in the background helps with the effect by matching the red letters on the door.

I like the line up of the cars and the colors. It's got symmetry even though it's not a typical geometric subject.

I love the feeling of nostalgia evoked by these pics.

I love this framing because you get a real feel for this setup.

This is just so mean!

So what are some of the ones you liked?

Love pics done in Sepia & Black and White, The take the color out and allow you to really focus on the subject in the pics.

Does it have to be a picture covered by HCS?

Not necessarily, but it would be nice if it came from a local event.

My favorites from last week:

I love the action captured in this shot. It shows how fast these karts really go!

You get a real feel for the g-forces in this shot because of the framing.

Serious acceleration--captured!

From this week's coverage:

I really like the shadows and water in these shots.

British nostalgia at its best.

VW nostalgia.

The original Motley Crue.

I love the polished Ferrari logo on the gloss red.

This history of the iconic Jaguar XJ front fascia design.

The polished Jaguar E-Type doesn't look too bad either.

"Hurry and take the picture before I have a heart attack!"

A girl and her car--nothing sweeter!

Classic beauty--a black and white that you can't look away from.

A balanced shot with really good chemistry between the two models.

There's something aggressive about this shot that grabs me. Probably the intercooler showing and the mean look of the headlights.

This is just too sweet.

Motley Crue #2.

Awesome panning shots.

The half smirk with the attitude of the girl with the bad ass look of the car. Makes ya think twice about testing either one..

Oops! But it did use the XJ's iconic styling since it's introduction in the late 90s.
