Zipping along on my way to this event I saw a familiar tailpipe configuration that I hadn't seen in Huntsville before--it was the Lexus IS-F. So I slowed down to take a shot of it and give the owner props.

A box ready to be filled with bears awaited the show participants. As the grassy area in front of the Advanced Auto started to fill with cars, the traffic zooming by glanced to take a look. And there were some pretty cool cars, bikes, and trucks zooming by so I tried to get shots of those too.

There were some real treats for Volvo fans at the show with a 57 and 51 Volvo stock and modified side-by-side. I'm sure the stock one produced nowhere near the over 1500hp the modified one did. The last time I saw the modified was a couple of years ago at a show in Triana. Good to see it still around the area and still looking great.

Scott and Jeff from Cruisin the Streets were also on hand to cover the show and shoot some ladies. Be sure to check out their event coverage. All in all, this was a good little event for a good cause. See everyone next time.

How loud is your stereo?

I just got notice that we have permission to hold stereo demonstrations and clinics at the show. James Claridy from Zeta Bass Technologies and the Phat Baby Kustumz Sound Team will be on hand to help test and tune your audio systems. The cost for metering and clinic will be a $10 donation per vehicle. As always this donation will go toward purchasing gifts for the children.

Speaking of children... bring your little ones out to enjoy the day with you. We will have goodies available for them.

Even if you can't stay, please stop by and drop off a stuffed animal. It has been a really rough year for the economy, and this could be the only gift some of these children receive.

Thanks for your support.
