Grissom Football's first ever car show had a great turnout. Austin (awebb) from Red Baron Photography covered the event while I was at other events, and then I swung by to cover the awards and actually walk around and enjoy the show as a spectator for once. It was really great to check out the cars up close that I've photographed regularly for years.

I did get some videos while I was walking around including Anthony taking off in his 350z. The sound reminded me of the cars at the Petit Lemans. I took pictures of cars heading out in addition to the awards presentation. It was good to see all my friends getting awards--especially Danny, who had more than one opportunity to take some entertaining pictures. See everyone next time!

Y do vettes get their own category? Y are Mercs exotic? What about 90s and 00 muscle? Imports? Trucks and a 4x4 class?

Lol obviously the coordinators of this show are not avid HCS readers.;-)

because there cool........actually it's not a great idea at all. You'll have everything from a new ZR-1 to a full restored 50's model. Kinda hard to compare (although it's very doubtful a ZR-1 would be there).

I'm working weekends now, but if I'm going in late, I'd love to pop in for stroll around the cars, especially the exotics! Heck, I saw a Lotus Exige at a Grissom show a few years back!

Lotus's are becoming pretty common, which makes me glad I didn't go that route (not that a vette is rare). The fact that there "exotic" and are only around 30k makes them very attractive. At some point I'll prolly own one but the fact that I honestly don't think I had the room to pack for weekend trip was a huge turn off. But they are pretty neat cars, the supercharged ones are amazing, there's nothing like hearing a s/c whine less then 2 feet from your head.

Agreed. They still turn my head when I see them, but l wouldn't chase one down to oogle it like I did when they first started popping up 'round here. Now if an Ariel Atom blew past me on the parkway...

I'm pretty sure the silver one your talking about is Dr. Young's. I detailed it for him a few times when i was in college and doing that for side money.

That's interesting. This is the second possible database related issue that I've run across lately. Does it have the link for you to attend/not attend?

Does it let you with your other account? Maybe that will shed some light on what's gone wrong.

Strange. Might have been a cookie problem. I'm glad it's working. There's already too much work for me to do!

A quick bump, so everyone remembers to come out and
support this new show. Weather looks perfect, albeit windy.
