Yep, sure does. I didn't even know what one was until I drove one in the BMW drive for a cure a couple of years back. I found out later I drove a $100,000+ 500hp/500+tq sedan. At the time there were less than 100 in the US. If I only would've known all this beforehand!

I've seen an Alpina B7 a couple years back at the ihop on University. I had pics, but don't know where they went.

I took a picture of the rear end of one, and then talked to the owner. He told me about the alpina b7, and it seems like a really awesome car. It's supercharged! )

The torque on it was pretty monsterous. Even though it was a heavy car, you could tell it had some sort of 'umph'.

One of the coolest things was the seat--when you sat down, it automatically conformed to your body. But there was too many electronics for my taste. Shifter electronic, signals electronic, everything was a button or functioned like one. It kept you out of touch with the car and road.

that was one of the first things the owner told me about the car hehe, then he asked if i wanted to sit in it and i told him no because i felt bad about how much the seat would have to move around for me (i'm 5"1, the owner is 6"4).

Alpina B7's are the craziest luxury super sedan...

The F01 B7's are coming back to the US in limited production of 500 cars in 4 trims: B7, B7L (long wheelbase), B7 xDrive, B7 xDriveL

Oh, and the rumor for the next gen M3 is: going back to straight-6 but with Twin-Turbo's, and the next gen M5 is suppose to go back to either the 4.0L or go to the 4.4L V8 with Twin Turbo's =}

The new 1 series M version (I hope they don't call it the M1, that would be blasphemous), is a Twin Turbo 3.0L That much power and torque on such a short wheelbase is crazy in a production car...lol

My cousin in Atlanta, ONE35i, has a 1 series and let me take it for a spin. Even a non-M will hit 110mph faster than you know it! I really like the 1 series. It's a really nimble car that brings back the driving experience.

And feel free to post one up if you capture it. Camera phone, cell phone, whatever. It's all about spotting it.

Saw one of the new MB SLS's in the rain the other day, north bound on the parkway. It wasn't as impressive as I had expected, but still a nice car.
