Car detailing...wow.

This was sent to me by a friend. I don't consider myself a detail guy any longer after reading the article. This work is insane, not to mention the risk factor on the vehicle that's being worked on. And here I am afraid to hit my truck with some 105, 205, and sealer. lol

Yep, amazing work. I only know of one local detailer with a paint thickness guage that uses it on every job.

But the question is if you really want a finish this nice. Because it's next to impossible to maintain it unless the car isn't driven and is kept covered.

Especially Black vehicles... they look good for about 20 minutes.

Yep, you're definitely right on that one--half of my cars are black. But I still love the color.

I owned one black vehicle in my life. Had it three years and swore it would be the last one I'd own. They look good when they're clean but that doesn't last too long.
