Cowl scoop needed

Looking for a 2 to 3 inch cowl 24" wide. Need one to decide if that is the way i want to go or not. If cheap i can just buy it, or borrow it if your planning on using it - any ideas

Send a message via AIM to HDP 7
If no one local has one, JC Whitney will probably have the size you need.

CBI's got tons of stuff to check out. I think I've seen a scoop there before. Give them a call and they can tell you right over the phone.

good point on the swap meet that is south of Nashville. Might try them. I am considering a one off scoop. My hood as a small raised center section in the shape of a V. The racing stripes follow that line. Picture the hood with the center section V that is raised two inches. Left open in the front and back, Will give it a ram air look, with the ability to let heat out of the hood during idle.

pic of my car

Found a Shaker scoop here in huntsville. In great shape. I have the breather unit being sent in and should be here monday. Looks like im Shaker bound.

Anybody that has ideas on how to cut a hole in my hood for the shaker to fit through and not have to repaint the whole thing is more than welcome to come by with thoughts and tips. I live in Harvest
