Not new, but here's my Intro

My name is Beck and I'm on staff here at HCS. I've been here since 2005 and I lived in Dallas, TX for almost a decade before that. I attend UAH (business major) and work for a local car audio shop.

My username is Beckham (old nickname) and I'm 23 years old.

I drive a 2003 Dodge Neon SRT4 with ~210,000miles. It is factory stage 2 with a bunch of bolt on's.

Recently, my car was put in the 2011 SRTforums.com calendar.

Here's some pics of the car:

Hey what car audio shop do you work at? I'm looking at starting that phase of my build after the new year.

He works at Sound on Wheels, it's the ONLY place I'd take a car to for a stereo. They do top notch work.

There's also several other well-established stereo installers in the area that do very good work.

It's just that I've seen great work from some of the other companies as well. And to be honest, I've heard just as many complaints. I don't know of any of the long-standing stereo shops being 'better' than the others. They all are different in subtle ways so find the one that works for you.

Car Audio is so HUGE as well, so sometimes you have to play the waiting game to get an install.
I think I bought my first car stereo from Sound on Wheels. A Craig T610 Cassette deck. Man, it was so cool.....Let's not forget the Pioneer 6x9's in the back either.
Man, now it's just laughable....My new stuff is soooooo much better. And some of these audio systems in these smaller import cars are really amazing, and a lot of it is DIY, so that makes it even better.

That's why I added a pic of my dash in there. It was only a single din opening.

Exactly what I'm talking about. Very smooth install. Nice and professional.

Nicely executed. I'd say it looks stock, but it's better.

Jester.

Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD. One of the best things I've bought for my car!
