31st Annual Rocket City Mustang Club All Ford Show

From the flyer:

This event is rain or shine. Registration is open to all Ford powered cars and trucks. Registration is $10 per car for active military, $20 per car for everyone else. Registration ends at noon and includes a goodie bag for the first 200 registered. Awards will be completed by 4pm for the following classes:
  • Mustang Concours (1964-1973)
  • Mustang Occasional Driver(1964-2009)
  • Mustang Daily driver (1964-2009)
  • Modified Mustang (1964-2009)
  • Kit Cars (All)
  • FOMOCO Cars (1900-2009)
  • FOMOCO Trucks (1900-2009)
  • Popular Vote (2010-2011)
  • Popular Vote FOMOCO (2010-2011)
In addition to the show there will be door prizes, a 50/50, vendors and parts corral, food, shopping, and family fun.

This is one of the largest annual shows in the area, and one of the nicest. Come check it out!

All proceeds help pay Huntsville Car Scene bills.

Austin (awebb) from Red Baron Photography was out covering this event while I covering others, and it looked like a great show with over 100 cars on display. Great turnout considering tornados just a week ago wreaked havoc to our area. A good number of donations were also collected to help out victims from the storm. See everyone next year!

Actually... it's Yamaha powered LOL... but thanks Samir! Yeah, I bought another SHO LOL! I was going to fix mine, but I ended up having to have a car right now, and this one was a good deal, and aside from paint is in MUCH better shape than my Red one, even though it's stock.

Relatively... $1500, but I bought it from another SHO enthusiest. Paint is Fubar MAACO, but Interior is mint, and has been converted to a rod shifter(over the original cable shifter). Got about 28mpg driving it home from Mobile.

28mpg--not too bad. I bet it wouldn't do that if it wasn't in great shape.

Yeah... they tend to drop down to around 19-25 when the valves need adjusting.

What was that classic dream car you were talking about the other night? Wasn't it a Mercury?

This show is pretty cool because from what I remember, there's been a few Chevy trucks with Ford motors show up. Which is the opposite of what you see most of the time--Chevy 350 in the front, Ford 9" in the rear. As Forrest Gump put it, it's 'like peas and carrots.'

As of right now, I would assume all events to be be cancelled. I'm sure we'll start hearing about the status of events as power is restored and people are safe and getting back to normal.

I am finally back and going strong! I have power!! YAY!! The car show will continue as planned. It will also be a location for donations for those in need. I will post more details as I get them. I hope everyone remained safe during this time. We were really lucky. Unfortunately, some of my neighbors were not as lucky
