Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4

The basics:

- Carbon fiber monocoque with front and rear aluminum crash structures, at 3,470 lbs dry it's 200 lbs lighter than the Murcielago and twice as stiff.

- It's 6.5 liter V12 is a brand new ground up design. The V12 used in the Murcielago's architecture predates even the Miura.

- It makes 691 BHP, 509 ft-lbs of torque and revs to 8,250 RPM.

- The wheels are staggered 19" in the front, 20" in the rear. Tires are 255/30 front and 335/35 rear.

- The brakes are carbon ceramic with 15.74" fronts and a new electronic e-brake.

- The instrument cluster is completely digital, much like the Lexus LF-A.

- It accelerates to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds and tops out at 217 mph.

MSRP is a cool $379,000.

OMG, it's got Lambo doors!! Ummm...wait...lol...

Hensel Flash - I looked them up. There's around $20k of lighting equipment in that shoot.

I really like the rear taillights. They may be dated after a few years, but I still like them.

I almost love all of it. Still not liking that style of front bumpers Lambo has been using. And where's the tach?

I understand that they're digital, but is there any sort of RPM readout on the Lambo's setup? Maybe you can change the speedo to a tach or something trick like that.

A tach is critical for performance cars. I mean, Porsche puts the tach dead-center with the mph off to the side.

When you're having fun with a car like that, you'll be in the trouble zone before you leave first gear.
