Samir. Not really sure how to set up events with multiple dates other then doing it one by one and don't have time to do that. Should be a fun event, I'm looking forward to it.

There's actually a way to add 'recurring events' that can repeat at any designated time. I've copied your event listing for the rest of the listings.

I may wait to the 26th as well. I was looking at the weather and the low is 32 Friday night so it's going to pretty chilly Saturday morning so I'm thinking that may hurt the turn out, plus I'd like to go to the drag strip with a chandler to see how his car runs.

High end and exotics like vettes and lambos? What is considered "high end" exactly?

The Cars and Coffee meets in Dallas have Ferraris, Lambo's, Aston Martin's, old classic cars, Ariel Atom's, etc. They've even had a Gumpert Apollo out there.

I'd assume it would be the same category of cars in Nashville.

Yeah I figure I'm going to be on the low end of the cars there.

'Cars and Coffee' events traditionally are higher-end vehicles that include exotics. The Porsche club does a local 'Pitstop Breakfast' that has potential to become the same thing since the Vets with Vettes would like to start a 'Cars and Coffee' here in Huntsville. I just haven't had the time to get the groups connected to get it off the ground.

I've wanted to go to the one in Nashville since Dario Franchitti is known to show up almost every time and hang out. Even though he's a well known race driver and is married to Ashley Judd, I've heard is 'just one of the guys' when he's out at these events. But I just can't fathom waking up at 5:30am just to go--not happening.

I've been meaning to talk to one of the local PCA guys about this but just haven't. I don't know that it would be to the level of a large city but maybe it would attract the group I'm looking to meet.

Let's work together on this. Now that I'm feeling better, it's project like this that I'd like to see bear fruit this year.

I'm pretty close by. Let me know a time/day that works for you. My schedule can get crazy as you know, but if you're willing to take the initiative to make this happen, I'll work with you and we can get the ball rolling. I'm working on a lot of projects like this. *looks at stack of project folders*

I think I've got the contacts to get something started. I just haven't tried anything yet other than mentioning it. Time is what I need. I could do more than anyone can imagine with this little town.

It's just a matter of targeting the correct groups and getting them on the same page. Honestly after a lunch a while back with Samir and throwing the idea to a few people I still think Huntsville is to small to have a real "cars and coffee". Yes i know there are lots of car people here but not a lot of the guys with exotics are into bringing there cars out for a meet. Point in case..........there are about 15 ferrari's running around madison county. How many have you ever seen at a crusie in? I can only think of 2.
