...this is great. Just right down the road and not much traffic on this end of the Parkway...However, the only problem is there is no class for motorcycles.

RATS! I knew I should have gone.
I was there too early, then fought with a lawn mower.
I'm going' next time.
What do you think the chances of getting the Hardee's manager to put something about the car show on the sign would be?

Jester..

Yeah, marriage--fooey. What is that anyways? lol.

Have fun at the wedding anyways. I just went to one last Sunday and all I can say is Persian women are beautiful.

6/4/11 Hardee's Car Show
Huntsville, AL

Pics from the show! The parking lot was packed once again, although a lot of vehicles parked and didn't register. Its difficult to judge when there are non-participating cars parked at the show. Due to the limited amount of parking, we prefer to leave the parking spaces for show participants. Its just frustrating to get half way through judging a vehicle and see that it doesn't have a dash placard with the registration info on it. Conversely, there were participating vehicles having to park on curbs and in the field that shouldn't have had to if the non-participating vehicles hadn't taken up parking spaces.

Other than that, there were two vehicles considered for best of show that weren't registered. Several others would have won awards had they been registered.

For the record, I personally never park at a show that I do not register. If I do not plan to register, I park away from the show. It just seems polite and courteous to the show hosts and participants to do so. I know a lot of other people do this as well. I have also seen some that have expressed the desire that they do not want to be judged, however they still register, and at least one vehicle did so at Hardee's this past weekend.

I do not say all this to discourage people from coming out and attending the shows, but at least be courteous to the participants in the show by allowing them a parking space rather than having to "fit in" somewhere outside of a parking space.

Great event coverage! Jay, if you want to post a writeup like I usually do, you're welcome to. I'll clean it up and everything and make it look right.
