British auto maker, Jaguar just released the pictures of Growler E 2011 Concept.

Jaguar E-Type first appeared in 1961 and many praised as the best-looking sports car.

The design of this sports car is Bo Zolland, designer of the Swedish design studio, Vizualtech, and Robert Palm, an independent designer from Switzerland.
According to Vizualtech, this 2-door car will powered with 5000 cc V8 engine supercharger. 0-100 km / h Less than 4.0 seconds. Jaguar Growler and E is rumored to be produced in limited edition.

Very nice! The e-type has always been a classic shape for Jag. This takes everything great about that style and brings new life to it.

I just noticed that after you mentioned it. Why do you not think they'll build it? I think it's a home run.

It just seems to be a common thing for people to build awesome concept cars then water them down by the time they actually reach production.

Jaguar is pretty bad about making AMAZING concept cars, but doing nothing with them.

Although, they did verify that this concept car will become a reality: (a pricey one, though)

From what I've seen, it really depends on the manufacturer. Porsche introduced the 918 hybrid very shortly after their 918 RSR race car debuted.

i like the design, but i agree with Cody. it will probably next make it to production. Jag doesn't seem to do much retro styling.
the coves and fender emblem look very similar to 55-57 Vette to me now that i really look at it.

I agree, and I think someone already made this point. All the concept cars always look amazing, but when it comes to it they never look as good when they are done.

That is an awesome looking car! I love it in silver and if it gets watered down for production, Jag will be missing out on some major sales.

I hope it doesn't get watered down. Those first images really hold true to the styling queues of the original e-type, especially the wired wheels.
