89 Honda CRX Si

FOR SALE

1989 HONDA CRX Si

Powered by a ZC 1.6L JDM DOHC engine and 5 speed Transmission
with Jackson Racing Supercharger this is a fast, fun car that still gets 31 mpg! The car is in great shape for itís age and mileage. No rust. Clean interior. Single rock chip in windshield. It's been repainted but the paint isn't perfect. Itís complete with Air conditioning and sunroof and has 221,000 miles on the chassis and approximately 50,000 miles on the drivetrain.

Recent upgrades include new upper control arms and ball joints, new braided steel brake lines, new alternator and battery. New AC and Supercharger belts plus a fresh set of Hawk HP+ brake pads and New Rotors. The ride height has been handled with the installation of Ground Control Coilovers riding on a spring rate of 350f and 250r. There are a few extras such as a Integra ECU a factory ZC intake and a 4-2-1 header should you decide to convert back to normally aspirated. Currently has 15 x6.5" AXIS Wheels with 205 50 15 Direzza DZ101 tires.

Fun, fuel efficient and pretty fast.

Someone was telling me about this car this weekend at the auto cross event after mention how i missed my CRX.

The fact that the car still AC makes me want to shake your hand!!!! This is way way way to tempting for daily driver/auto x toy.

Only question is that orginal yellow that came on a crx?

I believe that is the original paint code. But not the original paint, it was disassembled by the previous owner and repainted. It's not a great paint job by any means but it's good enough for daily driving and playing with.

Yep, AC is a necessity in Alabama. The supercharger makes up for any parasitic drag issues.

Just curious it looked a little brighter yellow.

Clean car and it blows my mind how hard it to find one of these cars (or any modded honda) for that matter with AC.

This was my last crx so I have thing for clean crx's.

Seriously! If someone is looking at a new CR-Z, this is just as much the same car without a lot of the luxury electronics like GPS, etc. But for over $10k less, I'm sure you can add whatever you want to it.

I really don't understand the target market for the CR-Z. I don't expect the model to survive long.

I drove one when the first came out and told the salesman no one in there right mind would buy it. I made sure to drive a 6 speed one hoping it would be fun but it's really not. Plus the interior in those cars have really really gone down hill in my opinion.

I think the interior quality on all Japanese cars has gone down since the early 1990s. My Accord dash doesn't have a single bubble or crack in it after being in the sun for most of 16 years, and my brother's Altima is the same after 15 years. I don't think the cars of today can do that anymore.

I love this car. I am trying my best to get my 19 year old on board. He needs something fun and more fuel efficient. He does not want yellow, because our S2000 is yellow. Stupid kid. I will talk to him again.

You should have took this to Import Alliance. I'm sure someone would have bought it there.
