2006 Corvette Z06

Location: Huntsville, AL
Price: $43k
email: cody.bellomy@gmail.com

2006 Corvette Z06
Daytona Sunset Orange Metallic (only 282 Z06's made in this color, which to my knowledge makes this the rarest color Z06 made)
Ebony interior
26k Miles
No Accidents or paint work
2nd Owner
I have all the orginal paper work and manuals for the car.
Only mods are an Air Raid cold air intake (I do still have the stock intake) and a set of DMH electric cutouts (these are mounted on the h-pipe not on the axle back. My reason for doing this is if someone wanted to take them off it would be very cheap to find a stock h-pipe vs the axle back. I can provide pics if needed).
The car has a set of Nitto Invo's with only about 3k miles.

I purchased the car around 8 monthes ago with 18k miles. The car is has been garage kept and never driven in the rain (this was also the case for the previous owner). I have changed the oil with Mobil One and I have also servied the clutch fuild regularly. You will be hard pressed to find a cleaner Z06 than this one. I can provide more pictures (which I plan to do this weekend seeing as how I have no pictures of the interior or any good ones under the hood) and can also answer any questions. I will try to check this thread daily but your best way to reach me is via email at cody.bellomy@gmail.com . Thanks for looking!

I can't believe it. And so soon too. Well, this is one nice car that will hopefully find another nice home.

I think there's pics of the car in the HCS archives if you want to link them here. I just can't remember all the events you've been to.

damn that is a nice car, there is a silver one that lives near me now, still had the Car Mart tag on it the other day, it absolutely tore me a new one, lol... I mean I knew I was going to lose, I just wanted to know how bad it would be... honestly, until he got traction I had about 3/4-1 car on him but then... good God, lol... I think by the time he hit 2nd he was about 5 cars out, lol... from there I just shook my head

I didn't break the speed limit... didn't have to, by the time I reached the speed limit I was already backing out, it was THAT bad, lol

lol. That's ironic because EvilZ sold a Z to get this z06.

It's a really pretty car too. I can't believe he's selling it.

I was just gonna ask if anyone has ever seen his headlights since he always mentions people seeing his taillights...if he is going to keep the EvilZ moniker, ZR1 maybe??

I really have no idea. I love the car but I honestly just can't enjoy it because I don't want to put that many miles on it or really beat on it to hard because it's such a nice car.

I'm thinking along the lines of a twin/single turbo lsx rx-7 and then just save some money. I just can't rationalize the car payment for a car I only drive maybe 2 times a week.

I can understand that.

And car payments for a car you don't use definitely don't make financial sense. Although I'm sure you feel like keeping it when you drive it.

If I was in your shoes, I'd just get a nice driver and save up the cash. If I was smarter at the time, I would've done that versus buying all my nice cars. You know better than anyone what compound interest can do on a large principal over time.

No joke........plus no debt it kinda tempting. I have a good bit of equity in the car that would be nice to have back in liquid form so I can play in the market.

Imagine this scenario--no debt and enough principal to earn $10k a year for playing. A lot of people think this is impossible, but it's just $100k earning 10%, which is doable even in this economy.

If I had a day job, I would take every penny and save it. I'd have $100k saved up in under 5 years. No eating out, no new anything, keeping my eyes on the ball. Because once I get there I can relax a bit. My goal in life is to have 1 million earning interest. Even at 5%, $50k is enough to live comfortably in Huntsville. And that would be doing absolutely nothing. I could could work at McDonalds and be taking home $75k/year, lol.

This is the way the rich live and how they stay rich. I just wish I would've known all this when I was 18 and had my first lump sum of cash saved up. It would've proven useful in my mid-20s. I would already be halfway to my goal.

Yep. The deal's never done until there's cash in hand.

I've seen all sorts of deals slip over the years. No chicken should be counted until the egg is hatched!

Bump.

I'll consider $41k for a local buyer. I have a person in Delaware extremely interested in the car it's just a logistical nightmare.
