Ouch, that's going to leave a mark.

I'm actually impressed with Ford's quality lately. The Mustang and the King Ranch twin turbo v6 really surprised me. They don't feel like 'American' cars anymore. Of course, if you ever saw Ford's quality in Europe, it's right up there with Japanese makes made in Japan.

Yeah Ford has stepped their game up. I wasn't a big fan of the company until recently. I doubt I'll ever be a fan of the Mustang body unless it's totally redesigned to not look anything like a Mustang lol, but I gotta give credit where credit is due.

I look for quality, intelligence, and service. A company that can deliver that to me has my business for life. So far, no one has been able to.

I don't see why they would pull it? There are plenty of other auto makers that have commercials directly targeting their competitors.

Supposedly they didn't, but they did pull the Youtube vid before putting it back up. People complained on their FB page and they said it was just normal rotation, but that wouldn't explain why they would delete it from Youtube.

Here's a Dodge commercial targeting Ford and Chevy trucks:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFF7N3yD5es

Dodge Durango vs. Ford Explorer:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzItFf-AK7Y

PR is great and all, but these guys targeting each other in commercials is nothing new.

It's not as simple as you make it out to be Beck.

Regaurdless of what Ford officially says, they did pull the commercial. Heard today on the radio that insiders from Ford said they got a call from the White House stating it would be in the companies best interest to pull the commercial. Why? real simple, Ford is currently in the middle of negotaiting with the UAW. Ford is also the only company of the big 3 that can be affected with a Union strike. GM and Chrysler have aggreements with UAW due to the bail out that they won't strike. So with the union in the back pocket of the white house and UAW flexing its power - the call got made. Besides, who wants to hear a commercial about good old hard work where you have to pull yourself up by your boot straps and get the job done on your own without goverment help.

"Still no word on why the ad disappeared from Youtube today, only to reappear hours later as if nothing had happened. Perhaps, like the phone call from the White House, these are all simply unconnected coincidences…"

Yeah I'm sure it was just conincidences... LOL

Whoever controls the information, controls the age. Just remember that folks.

If the powers that be can pull a commercial, what other heavy-handed things have already been done in the name of 'national security' or 'freedom'?
