Convertible Top Repair??

Hello Guys,
My Triumph has a convertible top that is in great condition except for the yellow rear window (plastic). Does anyone know of a shop that does convertible top repair that would replace just the rear window?

If I have to buy a new top, can anyone recommend a reasonable shop that installs?

Thanks,
Sean

There is a guy that is downtown on Clinton Ave. He has a shop right beside our Traffic Engineering building. It is a dump to look at the place, but all he works on is HIGH dollar stuff. I have seen Porsche, Vette..... type cars there. Lots of classic import type cars also. He is not cheap, but he does great work. He even does some work for dealerships. Our address is 2100 Clinton. So his should be something close. If you come off the PKWY and get on Clinton. He is on the other side of the pkwy from the VBC.

The place clintjohns talking about is a really good shop. They recovered some porsche seats for a customer and they looked like oem. I know Rods customs does tops too.

Thanks Samir.
I ended up buying a Robbins top off the internet and taking the car to Rod's to have installed. They did a great job. I am very happy.

Wow, I didn't realize changing the rear window would be that bad. Glad to see you have everything worked out though.

As it turns out, the top really needed replacing. $330 for the top and $160 for the install was well worth it. I will drive it to the next jet pep if it ever stops raining.

That's not too bad. We'll have to plan another Jet Pep, if you're coming to one! I've just been trying to catch up...

The shop on Clinton is closed. I need to replace my window on my 74 Alfa Romeo window. A few years back, I believe Rod's wanted $750 which seems to expensive.

Are there any specialists in Alfas? If so, I'd price check against them to see if it's about right.

For some reason I thought Rod wanted $750 to install the window. But it is $275 and I'm taking the car to them tomorrow.
