Gallo25

This car will be number 6th or 7th S-chassis for me. I'm a fan of white coupes so I'm probably gonna stick with this one for a while.

92 SE, HUD, no sun roof, power windows, everything including a/c works, and its a fairly straight body. I'm officially the 3rd owner. Orginal owners was an older couple from Macon, GA. Its nice to get a unfubared one every once in a while. My original plan was to go lsx swap since I'm familiar to that world, but after pricing I decided to go with a rb25.

Day 1.

Bought it needing a trans(which made it a cheap buy), so the process begins.

Moarrrr

While looking the car over I found a small boo boo made by being low enough.

Tire + chassis wires = bad. fix time.

Rewrapped the wires and moved them further up into the fender so the tire won't be doing that again.

Motor came in last week and I got the Harness, Clutch, and Mounts Saturday. Here's a few quick pics. Motor is super clean and very impressive at how well it was taken care of. Now all I'm short of installing the swap is radiator, intercooler, and the Greddy style intake. I've decided to do some things like gaskets and seals before installing the motor for a better peace of mind while it's in there.

I also got the drive shaft last week but no one cares about a picture of a drive shaft. The company sent a rb20 trans with the motor mistakenly and that won't handle the hp I'll be going for so I'll be buying a rb25 trans out of atlanta next week.

Cool stuff! So how long will the swap itself take? A day? More?

Ahh, I didn't think it was going to be one of those 1 day swaps. But I'm sure it will be well worth it.
