Another great meet with a great turnout. Parkerman and I were there waaaay early. Koreangrits joined us shortly after, but then left to run a short 5k with a friend. After a while, everyone started pouring in. We ended up spending time with the cars in the parking lot before we ate, and this was probably a good idea since it was definitely colder afterwards.

We had a lot of 'Twilighters' heading to the new movie at Rave after the meal, and when they took off the size of the group was cut in half. There was some great conversation and we learned all sorts of different things like how you won't explode in space if you hold your breath, and that some of the fish when deep sea fishing may spontaneously explode due to the same principles involved. All the conversation wasn't this heavy though, as NguyenZ's poses for pictures illustrate.

The food at Tortora's was great, and I want to thank both Parkerman and dragginbody87 for covering or offering to cover my meal. It really made my night since I was not going to be eating otherwise due to budgetary constraints.

As the remainder of us were briefly standing around the cars as they warmed up, 1FLYG made it in time to hang out for a bit.

It was good to see everyone again, new friends and old. See everyone at the next one!

I rarely see that lane anymore. I must have missed seeing it. I was pretty tired. Any damage?

I don't mind winter when it's like this day:
http://www.huntsvillecarscene.com/ca...=2011-1-10&c=1

My hands and feet used not be bothered by 40 and 50 degree weather, but type 2 diabetes causes circulatory issues in your extremities. Especially for me, as for some reason I have diabetic neuropathy. I wake every morning with reduced circulation in my hands and feet, almost tingling. This causes permanent nerve damage, and there's nothing I can really do.

Yeah my wife might have a similar problem in her left arm. She broke it this summer and cut her medial nerve and her fingers tingle. It's repaired now, we are just hoping life sparks back in the nerve to fully get feeling back.

That sucks. I'd recommend making sure that area gets circulation. And eating right helps A LOT. Something I've not been doing for the last few days...
