lol, no no no--then we'll have bake offs in the car scene.

Although I do like the Pacman idea with a twist. Make him wearing a police hat and eating matchbox/hotwheels cars, lol. Have two arms too like the old cartoon made him have and swinging a baton.

I like huntsville car scene but hsvracing is way more entertaining..........lol.

Not hating. Just saying.

As for a cake it would think doing something like a truck would be kind of easy and still look cool.

It depends on what your definition of entertainment is.

That would be pretty cool. It's an easy shape, and would look great.

There's just a lot of good links and off topic discussion.

If I need event info I'll come here but if I want to read interesting stuff I'll go to hsv. Both sites have there place.

What are some of the good links? The off-topic there is definitely a place of high activity, although all the big guys in forum management (Jamie from Vortex Media Group and David from AVSForum at 5:30) don't advocate a completely open off-topic section, and I tend to agree with them. There's an off-topic section on the roadmap here, but it's not been implemented yet (as with many things).

Makes sense. I agree that both have their place.

Just link to current events and random strange things (not all of them are PG). I can see both sides to a off topic section, but it's just something i like. Heck my g/f even reads the off topic stuff on hsvracing.........lol.

Anyways back to the topic at hand.......lol.

Ahh, makes sense. Yeah, I've seen the random things posted and know what you mean.

On a business basis, a completely open one is actually a bad move. Every link that links away from a site actually reduces seo, so a huge number of 'funny links' doesn't necessarily bring business value, although it does for a community. The best solution is when it strikes a good balance between the two.

To the topic at hand, does the cake have to be 3d or just flat like a regular one?

Awesome!!! I think you deserved a 100. If that's white cake, my brother would give you a 110. He's a cake fanatic. We had three at his engagement:

Very cool. My brother would get along great with your gf's family, lol.

I will be. It's best to catch me either during the break or before or after run groups. I should have enough time to run to my car and get them at that time. What color did you want again? I'll make sure I have them in stock.

I'll be there from the time I get there to the close of the event. And after I've done each run group once, I can step away for a bit if you've got to run.

What's the Mooresville tour?

Sounded like it was an awesome time. I like all the high octane stuff of the car scene, but since it's my job and I do it so much, I actually love to do chill stuff like that.

lol! I probably have as much gear as them! When you saw me, I was just donning the almost 20lbs of gear I'm lugging at a typical autocross.

The place where the Porsche Club had lunch on their 50th celebration was The Cedars in Belle Mina, not Mooresville like I originally thought. Close though!
