BFGoodrich discount offered in new mobile game



Michelin North America Inc.’s BFGoodrich brand tires are featured in the new game “Road Trippin’.” The game is the result of collaboration between Sears Auto Centers and EA Mobile, a division of mobile games publisher Electronic Arts Inc.

The two companies are incorporating Sears Auto Centers and BFGoodrich Tires products into the game, which is intended to be played on iPads, iPhones and iPods. Road Trippin’ takes players to 100 cities across the United States, while completing challenges along the way.

To support the launch, EA Mobile worked with Sears Auto Centers to bring branded auto shops into the game. Sears Auto Centers are destinations throughout the game where players can tune up their cars, receive “power boosts” and earn extra points. During these pit stops, Sears Auto Centers and BFGoodrich Tires will offer discounts to upgrade players’ tires on their real-life vehicles. This discount will be offered exclusively to Road Trippin’ players through the game.

Glad to see some Sears promotions going on. After the K-Mart merger, I worried that Sears would go under.

Cool deal. Now only if I could find some Bridgestone discounts.

Now I need to come up with a mobile game...maybe call it CURBED! Yeah I was really surprised when they merged...the sad part is craftsman tools sufered from it in my opinion.

I could seriously see some traction from a game called curbed where you avoid curbing your wheels though all the common things that happen to people. And as you get better at not curbing your wheels, you get upgrades to your wheels and discounts in real life for new wheels or fixing your real-life curbed ones.

I haven't checked out their tools, but what's changed?

To me it seems the quailty has gone down. Tools seem to break easier and there hand tools seem to be uncomfortable to use..for exmple my dad has an older Craftsman rachet that I could use all day. I bought one a few years ago and after loosing a few bolt it felt like it was cutting into my hand. But that is just my opnion.

Doh, I spoke too soon. Just announced. Sears will be closing 100-120 Sears/Kmarts nation wide. Guess me ordering my tires from TireRack didn't help...oops.

yeah the game was pretty boring, not much of a game, more just send the car here,click the little icons, no very entertaining. never did find the coupon, so i ordered my tires through Subaru Friday lol.
